Como Diagnostic Clinic was established in 1989 by its current Managing Director Mr. Sim Flint and was the first private clinic in Australia to provide DEXA (Dual Xray Absorptiometry) for the testing of Osteoporosis. The Como Diagnostic Clinic conducted education and information programs on all aspects of Osteoporosis – diagnosis, treatment & prevention in Melbourne & regional Victoria and was instrumental in creating a greater public awareness to this insidious disease. Como Diagnostic Clinic now holds one of the largest Osteoporosis data bases in Australia.
